Your Telcoin App is designed to store your digital assets and enable you to interact with low-cost, high quality financial products. Today, those products include cryptocurrency transfers and trades and, in supported jurisdictions, fiat remittances.

 

Wallet

The Telcoin wallet tab contains everything you need to know about your current assets at a glance. The main wallet card shows your total asset value in your local currency, and also features a button in the top right of the card which flips it over to reveal your Telcoin Wallet Address.

You can press on "Show Assets" to expand your current portfolio, and get a breakdown of the amount of each token you own as well as the current market price.

In the top left of the screen you can find your transaction history. Here, you can search for individual transactions based on recipient, token or transaction ID, or you can filter based on transaction type. Transactions will either show with a green tick for completed transactions, a yellow clock for processing transactions or a red "X" for failed transactions.

Trade

The Trade tab is the one stop shop for over 100 tokens currently supported on the Telcoin Wallet. To initiate a trade, simply select the "From" and "To" token and then enter the amount you wish to trade. You must currently be holding the from token in your wallet in order to trade from it.

Once both tokens are entered, you will be given the option to look at the live chart for both tokens, each compared to stablecoin. You can use this information for a better understanding of the trade that you are undertaking.

After entering in the trade information, you will be given the estimated quotes for the trade. These are highly accurate but the final amounts from the trade may differ slightly. Once you feel comfortable with the terms of the trade, simply proceed to confirmation to get a final confirmation splash screen, and then accept the trade.

You can then navigate to your transaction history tab to get an update on the status of the trade. Once the trade has completed, you will receive an SMS confirmation to the mobile number you associated with your Telcoin wallet, as well as a confirmed status in your transaction history.

Transaction

Send

The send tab gives users the ability to conduct transfers with other Telcoin wallet users. You will be given the option to enter the other users information from your phones contacts, from a list of recent recipients or by scanning their QR code.

After selecting the recipient, you can then select the asset you would like to send to that user, or you will be given the option to conduct a fiat remittance to the user if you and them are in a supported remittance rail region. Receive

The receive tab shows your wallet QR code, which can be shown to other users in order to receive Telcoin wallet transfers of either cryptocurrency or, if supported in your region, fiat remittances. 

Earn TEL

Stakers earn a percentage of their referred users’ transaction fees based on how much TEL they have staked and the staker’s ability to participate in the Telcoin platform by referring other users who actively participate in the Telcoin platform. Stakers earn referral fees each time their referred users transact and pay transaction fees on the Telcoin app. Referral fees are set to be paid in TEL. In order to participate in the Earn TEL program, you must first integrate another user’s referral code to participate. Then stake TEL to provide Proof of Alignment with the platform, determining your referral fee rate. Once you have done this, you can share your referral link with new users in order to drive adoption of Telcoin, earn referral fees in TEL based on your referred users’ activity, and claim accrued TEL at any time.

Deposit

The deposit tab allows users to retrieve their Polygon wallet address. If you wish to make a deposit, simply select the token you wish to deposit from the dropdown list, which allows you to search by either token name or ticker, and then copy either the QR code or wallet address and paste it into the necessary location in order to initiate the deposit. Please note that the Telcoin wallet operates exclusively on the Polygon network, and that deposits via Ethereum are not supported. Withdraw 

In order to withdraw tokens from the Telcoin application, simply search by name or ticker for the token that you wish to withdraw, and then enter the amount. You must then select the wallet address to withdraw to, where you can select an address that you have previously saved or enter a new address, either by pasting the wallet address or scanning the QR code of the wallet. You can also remove any previous addresses from this list by pressing the "X" icon to the right of the address. You must ensure that the recipient wallet is on the Polygon network, otherwise your withdrawn tokens may be unrecoverable. If your withdrawal is showing as successful in your Telcoin wallet and on the blockchain, but not appearing in the receiving wallet, you must contact the support team overseeing that wallet service as only they will be able to assist you in this situation.

Markets

The market view provides accurate and live data of all Telcoin Wallet supported tokens. The markets view can be searched by token name or ticket, and the list can be filtered by name, current price or 24 hour price change. 

Selecting a token will bring up a more granular view of that particular token, including its current price, volume, market cap,, 24 hour change in price and %, as well as a live chart with multiple timeframes ranging from 24 hours up to all time. The chart is also fully scrollable with the tap of a finger, allowing you to find the exact price on any particular day and time.

From this screen you are also given the option to trade the particular token you are looking at, which takes you back to the trade tab from the previous section of this article. Switching between the Market and Trade tabs will ensure that all information is persistent. 

 

Settings

The settings page contains all the necessary links to our Discord community, to the support form which allows you to engage directly with our best in class customer service team, and our legal documentation which includes the privacy policy and terms of use. 

From the settings page you can also toggle in app transaction notifications with the touch of a button, as well as toggling on and off your biometric security preferences. You are also able to force log out of the app on this page.
